1. About this privacy policy

The Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as ‘Policy’) regarding the handling of personal information of “DOPA” users(“users” or “you”) in the DOPA platform service, include DOPA App and other products which link to this Policy, (hereinafter referred to as ‘Service’) provided by the DOPA team(‘DOPA’ or ‘We’). The definitions of terms used in this Policy are in accordance with the applicable data protection law and related laws and regulations. We will not use any personal data for any purpose other than those stipulated in this Policy.

2. Personal information to be collected

We collects personal information of DOPA users by legal and proper means. When users use our Services, we may collect the following information from users:

  1. The information you provide to us

  1. Registration information, such as your telephone number, password, SMS verification code.

  2. Profile information, such as your nickname, avatar, date of birth, gender, nationality.

  3. All information described, distributed, transmitted, posted or displayed by you through our Service (hereinafter referred to as “Descriptive Information”), such as the text messages, voice messages, pictures, comments, posts and other information.

  4. Facial data. If you are a live streamer, you need to provide your facial information to complete real person verification. We will not use your facial data for any other purpose without your consent.

  5. Transaction information, such as recharge records, consumption records. We will not collect sensitive information such as your bank card number, payment password, etc. The above information will be collected by the third-party payment service provider you choose (such as Google, Apple). Please pay attention to read the online policies of such third parties.

  6. Information you provide to us by participating in activities organized by DOPA.

  7. Other information that you agree to be obtained by us.

We recommends that you carefully consider disclosing information to other users. In addition, you should be careful not to post any confidential information about yourself, such as home address, religious affiliation or health details.

  1. We will directly collect the following information from you:

  1. Behavior data, such us the information about how you interact with DOPA, how you communicate with other users, the time/frequency/duration of your activities, and your use records and actions.

  2. Device and network information, such as the application version, IP address, screen resolution, network type, devices memory, device ID, GAID, IDFA,IMEI,IMSI,SSID, device model, etc.

  3. Location information. When you use location-based features in our services (such as people nearby), you need to authorize us to access your location permissions and we will collect your geographic location information.

(3) DOPA obtains the following information from other services

  1. If you create DOPA account through third-party social media, such as Facebook, Google, you may need to provide your nickname, avatar and other information (depend on the third-party settings) to us.

  2. Information about you provided by third parties such as providers, advertising partners of the Service, payment partners, etc.

3. Purpose of use of personal information

DOPA shall use your personal information within the scope of the following purposes of use or within the scope of the purposes of use that are clear from the circumstances of its acquisition, and shall not use it for any other purposes except when you consent or when permitted under the law.

  1. Provide Services to users and support the normal operation of product functions;

  2. Respond to opinions, questions and requests regarding the Service from you, and to provide guidance and answers to such opinions, questions and requests;

  6. Conduct data analysis to count the number of users, user usage, causes of problems, etc.;

  7. Improve the Services, and to research, develop, and provide new services;

  8. Process and verify your transactions and deliver the goods or services you purchased to you;

  9. Provide and improve our advertising services, including to serve ads and advertising effectiveness measurement;

  10. Achieve other purposes incidental to the purposes of use specified in the preceding items.

If our collection or use of your personal information is based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time but this will not affect the validity and lawfulness of the collection or processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.

4. Management and security of personal data

DOPA will keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use, and will endeavor to delete such personal data when it is no longer necessary to use it.

In addition, DOPA shall take necessary measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of your personal data and for other security management. However, please understand and acknowledge that DOPA cannot guarantee the complete security of information even if DOPA has taken the best security measures due to technical limitations or malicious attacks by third parties. DOPA users are required to take proactive measures to protect the security of their personal information, such as changing their passwords regularly and not disclosing their account passwords or other personal information to others.

When DOPA employs employees to handle DOPA users' personal data, DOPA shall ensure that they are familiarized with the proper handling of personal data, provide them with appropriate training, and supervise them in a necessary and appropriate manner.

DOPA is a global social application that operates through servers around the world. We may store your personal information outside your country. We will take measures to ensure your personal information is processing and storage according to the applicable laws. We have put in place appropriate safeguards (such as contractual commitments) in accordance with applicable legal requirements to provide adequate protection for your personal data.

5. Provision of personal data to third parties

For example, with service providers, including third-party social media platform, payment service provider, security service provider, analyzing service provider, advertisers and attribution platform. We may share aggregated information with these above third parties as Apple, Facebook or Google that provide services in support of our Services for the purpose of analyzing crashes and improving service performance, for the purpose of analyzing, for the purpose of payment processing services (including security and fraud detection) and for the purpose of informing and improving the refund process if you request a refund. All third party providing services for us are prohibited from retaining, using, or disclosing your information for any purpose other than providing us with their services in support of the Services.

  2. When personal data is provided as a result of the succession of business due to merger or other reasons. If we either:(a) sell, transfer, merge, consolidate or re-organize any part(s) of our business, or merge with, acquire or form a joint venture with, any other business, in which case we may disclose your data to any prospective buyer, new owner, or other third party involved in such change to our business; or (b) sell or transfer any of our assets, in which case the information we hold about you may be sold as part of those assets and may be transferred to any prospective buyer, new owner, or other third party involved in such sale or transfer.

  3. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the consent of DOPA Users may impede the execution of such affairs.

  4. Other cases permitted under the Data Protection Law and other laws and regulations.

6. Data subject’s rights

You have the right to exercise the following rights based on applicable data protection laws and regulations, and we will respond to your request in compliance with legal requirements:

  1. Right of access and modification: You can access your personal information through our Services and you can also modify them online;

  2. Right to withdraw your authorization: You can change the scope of your authorization to us to continue to collect the information or withdraw your authorization by means of deleting information, turning off device functions and so on. After you withdraw your authorization, we are unable to continue to provide you with the service corresponding to the withdrawal of the authorization, and will not process your corresponding information. However, your decision to withdraw your authorization will not affect the information processing previously based on your authorization.

  3. Right of delete information and account:You can delete or ask us to delete some or all of your information. When you or we assist you in deleting relevant information, we may not immediately delete the corresponding information for reasons of applicable law and security technology, but we will take reasonable steps to store the relevant information securely until such information can be erased or anonymized;

If you no longer wish to use our Services, you can delete your account in the application. We have set up delete account instructions on that page in our application. Please fully read and understand the consequences before choosing whether to delete your account. If you choose to delete your account, you will have 30 days to withdraw your account deletion, if you log in again within this time period it is considered that you have canceled your application of deletion. After this your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Once your account is successfully deleted, it means that all information on your account will be cleared within a reasonable period and cannot be retrieved. Please choose to delete your account carefully. Please be aware that, where permitted by laws and regulations, your account information cannot be deleted (for example, if there are unresolved disputes, etc.) and we may also retain some of your information based on legal requirements.

  1. Other rights provided for by applicable laws and regulations.

You can also exercise your above rights by contacting us and we will respond to your request as soon as possible within a reasonable period. Please understand that in order to verify your identity, we may need you to provide relevant information.

7. Use of this Services by persons under 18 years of age

The Services is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18(or the age of majority as defined by local law). If you use the Services and discover that we have collected personal information from someone under the age of 18, please contact us. We will delete such information and terminate the account from which such information originated.

8. Revisions

We may revise this Policy as necessary. Unless otherwise specified by us, any changes to this Policy shall be announced to you at any time by posting on the Services, and shall become effective upon such posting. You should look at this Policy regularly to check for such changes. If you continue to use this Services after the last update date of the new policy, it will be deemed as your acceptance of our updated policy.
